Lauren Guglielmello

Lauren is an actor, writer, and producer based in New York City. She trained at The Theatre School at DePaul University and Roy Hart Centre in France.

Most recently, Lauren was seen in The Sea Gull as Masha directed by Ryan Czerwonko (AdultFilm Theatre Co.), which had a month-long run in Manhattan and a weekend in Hudson. Other NY theater credits include: how would you like me to atone? at The Brooklyn Center for Theatre Research, The Pool at The Tank, The Den (reading) at Walkerspace Soho Repertory Theatre, Crow Play, New York Fringe Festival, and Bloody Poetry tour: Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland), Walcott Chapel Arts (Bath, UK) Festival OFF d’Avignon (France), Sekrit Theatre (Austin,TX). Additionally, she’s performed at Lifeline Theatre, Redtwist Theatre, and Mary-Arrchie Theatre in Chicago. Lauren is an artistic associate of Invulnerable Nothings Company and was a resident at the 2023 Barn Lab, where she devised a solo piece that is currently in development. Phases of the Moon, her short film, premiered at LA Femme Film Festival in 2020 and garnered official selections.

Kara Overlien
Co-Creator, Cast

Kara is an actor, director, and filmmaker based in New York City.

Recent acting credits include Gold Rush dir. Jessie Kleuter and I’m Fine co-dir. Sharlene Radlein and Jessie Kleuter. Kara, wrote, directed, and produced Revenge of the Cyst, which received wide acclaim including official selection for the Festigious International Film Festival (Los Angeles 2020) and the Women’s Comedy Film Festival (Atlanta, 2020). She directed and produced Cutoffs, a TV mini-series distributed globally on YouTube.

Alice Marks
Co-Creator, Writer, Director, Cast

Born in Massachusetts and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Alice now resides as an actor, writer, editor and director in New York City. She graduated with an MFA from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (BOVTS), an affiliate of the former UK Conservatoire for Dance and Drama, as one of 13 students selected worldwide for this course.

Alice holds a second MA in Publishing and Communications from the University of Melbourne (UoM). She has performed in critically acclaimed off-Broadway theater with The Curtain (formerly Shakespeare@). She performed in leading roles at Theater for the New City (US) and Wickham Theatre (UK). Alice has also held leading roles in the short film circuit. Recent projects include Through & Through & Through dir. Anna Mikami and The Blink dir. Ridley Randolph. 

​Alice was awarded the Bonnie Hurren Prize for excellence in performance and acting technique (BOVTS); Dean’s Honor List 2022 (UoM).

Manon Blackman
Producer

Manon Blackman (she/her) is a New York-based documentary producer.

Most recently she was a story producer for a 4-part CNN documentary series on the history of Las Vegas, a consulting producer for an A24 and HBO documentary series, and a co-producer for the Netflix docuseries “Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street”. She was an associate producer for the Emmy-nominated Netflix series “Who Killed Malcolm X?” and the Oscar-nominated original Amazon film, “ALL IN: The Fight For Democracy”. Throughout her career, she has been a development producer and consultant for several companies such as Part2 Pictures and Gunpowder & Sky, and for platforms including HBO, Netflix, and Peacock, helping them take stories from ideation to streaming in front of millions worldwide.

Jenny Alice Watts

Jenny Alice Watts is a filmmaker, photographer, and lighting technician based out of Brooklyn, NY.

She has been working in the industry for over 10 years and boasts clients such as American Express, Etsy, Republic Records, and Universal Music. She’s also worked closely with industry heavyweights such as Danny Clinch, Jill Greenberg, Shervin Lainez, and Kwaku Alston as a lighting designer and digital technician. Much of her work involves the music industry, both as a musician herself and as a documentarian. A few select clients are Noah Kahan, Dayglow, Catherine Cohen, and Raveena.

Kat Kearney

Kat Kearney is a Maryland-born filmmaker who has a profound curiosity for stories about kinship, connection, and desire. With a background in social anthropology and dance research, she continues to explore identity and performance, movement and the body, and cultural modes of communication through the characters she develops. In all iterations of her ever-evolving practice, she is committed to making space for improvisation and play.

Born in Toronto and raised in Vancouver, BC, Adam Matthew Chin (née Adam McLean) takes his inspiration from his Chinese-Jamaican single mother and globetrotting Northern New Mexican father.

Adam has a degree in screenwriting from Stanford University, and studied theatre at the University of British Columbia, and acting at the prestigious Studio 58 program in Vancouver. As an actor, he has worked in film, TV and theatre. As a writer, director, producer and editor he has created award-winning feature films, plays, short films, industrials, and music videos around the globe for organizations as diverse as Funny or Die, New Urbanist Media, the American Film Institute and the World Bank Group. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California, but is currently attending Columbia University’s Screenwriting & Directing MFA in New York City.

Brayden Baird

Brayden Baird is a record producer and audio engineer born in Scottsdale, Arizona and based in Brooklyn, NY.

He has been working in audio for the last 15 years and specializes in capturing the unique sound and feeling of artists in a room. He currently co-operates Secret Beach Studios in Williamsburg where he works with many artists and musicians across genres and frequently takes up residencies at Big Lake Studios and Future Fields in Vermont. He has worked to create and record 1000’s of songs and albums and aims to show the authenticity of artists as they are.

Klovis Gaynor is a Queens, New York-based singer, songwriter & composer creating autoethnographic projects surrounding sex, sadness, violence, failure & desire.

His works are confident, forceful, brutal even, yet they also evoke a sense of fragility, gentleness, hope through loss. Klovis performs regularly in New York City, both solo at the piano, as well as with his baroque queercore band, KLOVIS GAYNOR & THE URINAL CAKES. They are the sound of crying, the sound of fucking, the sound of banging pianos, distorted guitars, fear, lust, hate, love, cum, cum & more cum. Klovis is a recent graduate from the University of Vermont, where he was awarded the Jennifer Goldstein Award for outstanding studio art student of 2019. His works have been exhibited and/or performed in numerous online presentations as well as institutions in Vermont, California, Florida and New York.

Max Solomon

Max Solomon is an audio engineer based in Paris. His background in music and music production laid the groundwork for him to grow his audio engineering skills over the past 10 years. With music, podcasts, branded videos, and film, Max has worn every hat there is in the world of sound. Currently focusing on film mixing and sound design for narrative films. Credits include Reebok, NY Mag, Knickerbocker, and more.

Mario is a filmmaker, cinematographer, and lighting designer based in New York City.

Originally from Santiago, Chile, he started in film over 10 years ago. In New York, he founded his production company Flowerbox Films with a focus on light design for a variety of productions. His work finds a balance between the technical and creative worlds. Flowerbox Films works on a broad range of projects: from narrative pieces that have shown at Tribeca Film Festival, San Francisco Film Festival, and New York International Shorts; commercials for Google, Forbes, Facebook, and more; and TV such as “The Story of My Number” for the NY Yankees.

Sasha Dominy is a NYC-based actor and cross-industry producer, originally from Hawaii.

Trained at NYC’s Maggie Flanigan Studio and with an MFA from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (BOVTS) in the U.K., Sasha’s work spans film, stage, and national commercials. She was most recently seen starring in Aloha, Heart (Hallmark Productions). Other recent appearances include Inventing Anna (Netflix), as well as major commercial productions from Amazon, Bud Light and McDonalds. Sasha has also starred in several award-winning indie films.

Gail Shalan

Gail Shalan (she/her) is a NYC-based storyteller on screen, stage, behind the mic, and with puppets.

The 2024 Audie Award winner for both Best Young Adult and Best Middle Grade Audiobooks, she’s best known for her work as an audiobook narrator with over 200 titles narrated, working for all major publishers as well as indie clients on titles praised by The New York Times, Library Journal, Vulture Magazine, and Audiofile Magazine.

Gail has performed on stage at The Bristol Old Vic, Cherry Lane Theatre, St. Ann’s Warehouse, and other various theater spaces across the US and UK. Her work as both an actor and a puppeteer was featured in the award-winning short film Coyote Girl (BostonIFF Best Short).

Drawn to work that shines a light on neurodivergence and mental health, she is thrilled to be a part of telling this powerful and important story with such a talented group of artists.

Matthew K. Addison is a New York City-based actor, model, and musician (drums, vocals).

He has been seen on a number of hit shows such as And Just Like That, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, FBI: Most Wanted, Blue Bloods, The Last O.G., High Maintenance - most recently as a recurring villain on Harlan Coben’s Shelter. Daphne Zelle is an actor/writer/director.

An ex-professional ballet dancer, she graduated from NYU and went on to appear in shows including Inventing Anna (Netflix) and Modern Love (Amazon Prime). She currently appears as ‘KAI’ in And Just Like That (HBO Max) as well as upcoming feature films It Ends With Us (Sony) and Smile 2 (Paramount). In addition, she wrote and directed her first short film Your Face, which premiered at the Oscar-qualifying Cinequest Film Festival in 2023.

As a freelance music journalist, Conor has interviewed prolifically, talking with both upcoming and established artists about their art, process and craft. As a filmmaker, he co-founded Australian film company Lawless Entertainment, with whom he wrote and produced three short films — The Light, The Lawless and Bleed Australian. As an aspiring rancoteur, he has collected a handful of mildly humorous anecdotes.

Nathania ten Wolde is a filmmaker born along the Bayou in Alabama, but most recently can be found in the Pacific Northwest or NYC.

After her first career as a portrait photographer, she has transitioned to filmmaking to explore quiet, character-driven stories that delve into the deeply personal aspects of humanity. While balancing the darkness and beauty of the human experience, she navigates her stories with an eye on the lyrical and the spiritual. She is currently in post-production on two short films she wrote and directed: The Field, filmed earlier this year in NYC and Outsider, shot this summer in the heat haze and farmlands of her childhood.

Jessie is a filmmaker, director, and actor based in New York.

She made her film directorial debut in 2024 with Gold Rush, a dark satire of the beauty industry that is currently on the festival circuit. She was recently the Associate Director of the psychological thriller JOB, a New York Times’s Critics Pick, in both its Broadway and off-Broadway runs. Zoë Barley is an outdoor educator currently living in Boulder, Colorado.

She recently moved back home to Colorado after spending 5 years in California attending college and working in arts administration. She is a semi-professional dancer and feels so grateful to have worked a wide variety of roles on a number of films. When not working, playing around on film sets, or passing the time on a stage you can find her reading, running or laying in the sun. She is so grateful to have been a small part of the amazing team which created this remarkable film.
